Windrose Plots Lab for Chicago O' Hare International Airport
This Windrose lab uses "EPA SCRAM Archive" data for Ilinois and specifically Chicago O' Hare International Airport for each season of the year. The windrose plot is a way to show wind patterns in certain areas of the world at a certain period of time. This windrose data lets us evaluate changes in the wind velocity at different meterological stations that are positioned all of the world.Through the data seen in the windrose plots, it can be seen that the prevailing winds act a certain way during the different seasons. The prevailing winds as shown in the graphic are in a completly different direction during each season with Winter and Spring having the most varience.
